Thomas Locher is examining the rules of language and the complex ways in which it functions, inspired by deconstructive ideas in the eighties. Continuous interest in language and its relation to writing, in the interface between subjects and objects. Works and projects on grammaticality, communication, constitutional law and aspects of human rights. In the last years he is focussing on economical questions around the exchange and its social implications, the gift or the fetishism of the commodity and concepts like credit, credibility and belief.
